The Life of an ENDS Sample

We recently hosted and presented at The Ever-Changing World of ENDS – a global online conference. Joined by speakers from BAT, JTI, Inter Scientific, and Synchrogenix, we set out to educate on pertinent developments in reduced-risk products. You can still watch the conference on-demand:

Our presentation, The Life of an ENDS Sample, gives an insight into the inner workings of an ENDS testing lab during the generation and interpretation of data. This is a collaborative process we engage in alongside our customers, as opposed to a linear process. Our presentation was followed by an informative Q&A based on live questions that came in during the event. Questions included:

  • How many technicians are involved in the testing process?
  • Do you have a dedicated staff that follows a sample through it’s lifespan or are there dedicated people at different stages?
  • How crucial are QCs in testing?
  • Is pre-screening before a PMTA submission a must for companies testing their products?

Hall Analytical – It’s About Trust

We put forward two of our ENDS lab technicians – Robin Lea and Sydney Singleton – to frame, craft and deliver this presentation. Usually, our experienced roster of principal scientists represent us at conferences and events, but we are committed to give our early-career scientists the opportunity to share their knowledge and passion with a wider audience. Everything we do here takes a collaborative effort and we were all too happy to showcase their high level of knowledge and competence. Afterall, supporting early-career scientists is imperative to the on-going success of our industry and something that we firmly believe in at Hall Analytical.

Rob and Sydney also introduced our state-of-the-art, purpose-built laboratory that we moved into last year. This is the ideal environment for all of our analytical testing and it’s also a great place to work. Watch our virtual tour.
