Update 4th Nov 2020
With the continued increase in positive COVID-19 cases within the United Kingdom and with England set to begin a National Lockdown on Wednesday 4th November we wanted to provide you with an update regarding what Hall Analytical are doing to mitigate the impact on our staff and clients.
COVID-19 has shaken the business world, presenting great challenges and serious implications. Hall Analytical and VR Analytical will synergise further in order to continue testing while maintaining the health and safety of our staff.
We will support businesses by testing medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and/or single use systems that produce medicines. For projects related to the battle against COVID-19 (devices, vaccines, etc.) contact us immediately to discuss testing requirements. We will fast track these projects to enable the administration and/or manufacture of delivery devices and single use system. This is important work that must continue.
Our primary concern is the health and well-being of our staff and their immediate families. To this end, we are following the guidelines that both the UK and USA governments have in place. This includes self-isolation, increased personal and workplace hygiene, remote working, and restricting visits from non-essential staff.
The good news is that we are also able to take further measures to ensure the continuity of our important testing work. Hall Analytical and VR Analytical may be separated geographically; however, our teams are closely connected via electronic means. We continue to closely collaborate on all aspects of our daily work.
Whilst international shipping remains in operation, we can share samples in order to mitigate any capacity constraints. Hall Analytical operates over two geographically adjacent sites over which we have split staff to reduce the possibility of infection. Additionally, both businesses are working roster systems to minimise contact between personnel. Wherever possible, data analysis, interpretation, approval, and report production are all being conducted remotely.
Be assured that we are doing everything in our control to allow our extractable and leachable analytical services to continue, whilst observing the highest standards of staff care. In turn, this will allow you to continue project deliveries. We remain committed to delivering a world-class service in these uncertain times and are available for contact from both new and existing customers.
